We have an amazing team, based in two locations in Auckland and Tauranga. Our team are dedicated and passionate about the services we provide and the people we work alongside. We are close knit and our client & whānau focused approach is implemented throughout our organisation. Our team have a combined wealth of professional knowledge and experience across a wide range of areas.

Our mission is to work in partnership with our clients and their family members to empower them to achieve their unique goals of well-being by providing quality care and support in a safe and nurturing environment.

We collaborate closely with our clients to develop, implement, and evolve their personalised rehabilitation and performance programmes.  Our clients goals become the goals of our dedicated team.

Bradley Takai

Clinical Director & Lead Physiotherapist - Kaiwhakahaere Kairomiromi
Brad has 20 years of mahi in the industry of private practice, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. He has set up practices in Auckland and Tauranga, most recently founding The Lakes Clinic in Tauranga. Recently, Brad has progressed into a Clinical Director, and General Manager role with What Ever It Takes, which has enabled him to have a wider impact on a range groups and communities he is passionate about.

Brad has a passion for innovation and progression in the field of health and wellness. Brad also has many years working with high performance sport.

Laura Seator

Senior Physiotherapist - Kairomiromi Turarua
Laura is a senior physiotherapist with over 14 years of vast musculoskeletal private practice experience. She has been a part of many national and international sports teams and worked with a range of top athletes. Laura also has her advanced dry needling certificate. She strives to help all patients achieve their goals and return to their best. Outside of work, Laura enjoys the outdoors and spending time her with her family.

April Davis

Physiotherapist - Kairomiromi
April is a recent graduate from AUT. She is compassionate and committed to providing person-centered care to people from all walks of life. She integrates the latest in evidence based techniques to help her clients achieve their goals and to return to the things they love most! April takes a holistic approach to care, empowering people to move with confidence and improve their overall well-being. April enjoys spending time outdoors, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She values an active lifestyle and brings the same passion for movement and adventure into her physio practice.

David Wellington

Chiropractor - Kaikorohiti
The Lakes Chiropractic at What Ever It Takes Clinic is unique. With it’s assessment, rehabilitation and skill training equipment as innovative and industry leading as it gets.

Outside of our standard chiropractic management, we take things to another level, offering technology such as Senaptec Sensory Station, Interactive Metronome, Righteye, Motion Guidance, Vestibtech Posturography, and VR training. Allowing for dynamic rehabilitation, skill training, eye movement training, balance rehabilitation, concussion management, falls prevention and more.

Andrew Baunton

Senior Physiotherapist - Kairomiromi Turarua

Andrew is a seasoned clinician with over 30 years of experience in physiotherapy.  With post graduate qualifications in Acupuncture and Sports Medicine, he has successfully owned and operated a practice in Auckland, and spent time practicing in Canada.  Now based in Tauranga, Andrew is a recognised leader in the industry, particularly for his innovative use of clinical Radial and Focus Shockwave Therapy in his patient rehabilitation.  When he’s not in the Studio, Andrew enjoys hitting the fairways as a keen golfer, and also flailing around on the squash court.

Ayla Bowring

Physiotherapist - Kairomiromi Turarua

Ayla, a 2023 University of Waikato graduate with a Bachelor of Health, Sport, and Human Performance, is passionate about helping people achieve their goals. Experienced in group fitness, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and sport-specific coaching, she loves hiking, rugby, CrossFit, and working with tamariki. Ayla builds strong client relationships, tailoring training to individual needs for optimal results.
